TROUBLESHOOTING VACUUM SYSTEM
Trouble Cause Remedy
No vacuum gauge indication Filter clogged or dirty. Clean or replace filter.
at instrument.
Line from gyro to filter restricted. Check line.
No vacuum gauge indication Faulty gauge or malfunctioning Replace gauge or pump
at gauge or pump. pump.
Low vacuum system pressure. Filter dirty. Clean or replace filter.
Vacuum regulator valve Adjust regulator valve in

Line from gyros to filter restricted. Repair line.
Line from pump to gyros leaking. Check all lines and fittings.
Replace or tighten
