6. Install the eleven M6 upper crankcase fasteners

from the top of the motor and torque to specification.
TORQUE
Upper Crankcase Fasteners (M6):
7 ft-lbs (10 Nm)
7. Install the two M8 upper crankcase fasteners

from
the top of the motor and torque to specification.
TORQUE
Upper Crankcase Fasteners (M8):
26 ft-lbs (35 Nm)
8. Install the six fasteners

to secure the rear engine
mount bracket
w
to the engine and torque to
specification.
TORQUE
Rear Engine Mount Bracket:
45 ft-lbs (61 Nm)
9. Install the starter motor. Refer to Starter Motor
Service page 4.14.
10.Install the stator cover. Refer to Stator Cover Service
page 3.70.
11. Install the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Service page
3.52.
12.Install the oil pump and oil cooler. Refer to Oil Pump
Service page 3.52 and Engine Oil Cooler Service
page 3.85.
13.Install the oil filter adapter. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter
Service page 3.50.
14.Install the engine assembly. Refer to Engine Removal
& Installation page 3.27.
