SPARK PLUG
SPARK PLUG INSPECTION
• Inspect the insulation

for signs of cracking or
chipping. Replace if any is found.
NOTICE
Cracks can be difficult to see. Any cracking on the
insulation can lead to a drivability concern.
• Inspect the ground electrode
w
for signs of wear or
irregular engine conditions. Verify the electrode gap is
correct.

1. Disconnect the ignition coil retention clip from the
valve cover.
2. Remove the MAG spark plug wire
