REPLACEMENT ONLY
1. Remove the fastener

and nut

securing the
ignition coil
w
to the mounting bracket
r
.
2. Transfer the hardware to the new ignition coil before
reassembly. Torque the fastener to specification.
TORQUE
Ignition Coil Bracket Fastener:
7 ft-lbs (9 Nm)
INSTALLATION
1. Mounting the ignition coil
r
on the chassis and install
the two fasteners
e
. Torque to specification.
TORQUE
Ignition Coil Retaining Fastener:
6 ft-lbs (8 Nm)
2. Install the connector
w
and ignition coil wires.
IMPORTANT
The spark plug wires are marked PTO and MAG and
should be installed in the corresponding ignition coil
post.
