6. Remove the two fuel rail fasteners and carefully pull
the fuel rail with fuel injectors out of the cylinder head.
CAUTION
Use care not to damage the fuel injector O-rings during
removal.
7. Carefully pull the injector(s) off of the fuel rail as
needed.
INSTALLATION
1. Lightly lubricate the injector O-rings prior to
installation.
2. Install the fuel injectors onto the fuel rail until the O-
rings are fully seated.
3. Install the rail with fuel injectors into the cylinder head
install the fuel rail fasteners. Torque to specification.
CAUTION
Use care not to damage the fuel injector O-rings during
installation.
TORQUE
Fuel Rail Fasteners:
5 ft-lbs (7 Nm)
