ROLLER, PIN AND THRUST WASHER
• Inspect all rollers

, roller washers

and roller caps

by pulling a flat metal rod across the
roller.
• Turn roller with your finger. If you notice resistance,
galling, or flat spots, replace all the rollers.
CLUTCH BEARING
• Verify there are no binding or rough spots. If problems
are noted, replace the bearing and thrust washers.
MOVEABLE SHEAVE
• Inspect the moveable clutch sheave for damage or
wear.
STATIONARY SHEAVE
• Inspect surface of shaft for pitting, grooves or damage.
Measure the outside diameter and compare to
specifications. Replace the drive clutch assembly if
shaft is worn or damaged.
MEASUREMENT
Shaft Diameter:
1.57 in (39.98 mm)
