5.14 SETTING THE FAST FUNCTION
The FAST function is used to enable or disable the E1 Fast Reframe function.
To access the FAST function, proceed as follows:
1. Use the GROUP switch to display the FAST group.
2. Press down on the SET/NEXT switch to display Disa (disable) or Enab (enable) as required.
3. When the display shows Disa or Enab, the green part of the ON/OFF indicator lights when the
function is selected.
4. To change the current setting, advance the display to the desired setting (Disa or Enab) and
press up twice on the Set/next switch.
After the first press, the green part of the ON/OFF indicator flashes, meaning that
a change is about to be made. After the second press, the green part lights
continuously, showing that the parity setting has been changed to the displayed
value.
