5.16 SETTING THE SWCH FUNCTION
The SWCH function can be set to Auto, Main or Stby, and is only used when you have a redundant
IMUX. The Auto setting allows automatic switch operation from the main CM4 to the standby CM4
when the main module has a problem. The Main setting activates the Main CM4 module. The Stby
setting activates the standby CM4 module
To access the SWCH function, proceed as follows:
1. Use the GROUP switch to display the SWCH group.
2. Press down on the SET/NEXT switch to display Auto, Main or Stby as required.
3. When the display shows Auto, Main or Stby, the green part of the ON/OFF indicator lights
when the function is selected.
4. To change the current setting, advance the display to the desired setting (Auto, Main or Stby)
and press up twice on the Set/next switch.
After the first press, the green part of the ON/OFF indicator flashes, meaning that
a change is about to be made. After the second press, the green part lights
continuously, showing that the parity setting has been changed to the displayed
value.
