5. Remove the spring [A] and the guide plate [B], and then lift the scanner unit while in the
wide-open state.
6. Remove the ADF unit [B] (ADF/ARDF Unit (Only MF Models)) and the operation panel unit
[C] (Operation Panel Unit) from the scanner unit [A].
