Flushing can be stopped manually, either by activating a setting in the software or by
pressing the stop button on the control panel. Filter flushing will stop automatically
once the preset flush time has elapsed or the preset number of litres have been
flushed.
6.5 Cleaning quartz tubes
The quartz tubes are cleaned in order to remove precipitated salts. The cleaning
process consists of the following phases:
Dosing acid
Circulating acid
Post-flushing

6.5.1 Dosing and circulating acid
The cleaning process can be started manually, either by activating a setting in the
software or by pressing the start button on the control panel. Cleaning may start if:
The measured radiation drops below the preset radiation level for clean
immediately (Rad. level clean immediately).
The measured radiation drops below the preset radiation level for clean after
disinfection (Rad. level clean after disinf.).
The preset quantity of water has passed through the unit (Quantity for start
cleaning).

When the cleaning process starts, acid is dosed until the preset acidity level is
reached. The acidified water is then circulated past the quartz tubes for the preset
duration.
