To install a UV-C lamp, complete the following steps:
1. Disconnect the power supply to the unit.
2. Unscrew the strain relief cable gland on the reactor cap.
3. Unscrew and remove the socket screw from the reactor cap.
4. Put gloves on.
5. Take the UV-C lamp out of the box.
6. Slide O-rings over the ceramic parts.
7. Gently slide the lamp into the quartz tube, leaving approximately 10 cm sticking
out.
8. Insert the power plug, with the black side facing up, into the lamp connector.
9. Gently push the lamp further into the quartz tube.
10. Fit the reactor cap, making sure that the screw holes of the reactor cap and the
UV reactor are aligned. Also make sure that cable is not twisted.
11. Push the reactor cap onto the UV reactor vessel.
12. Tighten the reactor cap with the socket screw.
13. Holding the cable, very gently push the lamp further into the tube until the lamp
stops.
14. Then retract the lamp about 1 cm so there is some play between the lamp and
the rear wall.
15. Tighten the strain relief, making sure that the sealing rubber is positioned
correctly.
Repeat this procedure for all UV-C lamps.
