Channel
3.1.14 Channel
If the LED assigned to the key CH is illuminated,
each channel stored and not cleared (inhibited)
can be called up via the tuning knob or the
numeric keypad.
The currently effective channel is indicated in
the channel field.
3.1.14.1 Calling Up a Channel
If the LED is not illuminated, actuate key CH.
Upon actuation of key CH it appears the fol>
lowing display:
CHANNEL _
The flashing cursor (_) indicates that an entry is
being expected.
Enter the new channel number via the numeric
keypad.
Range of entry: . . . . . . . 0 to 999
The following channel settings are effective:
f Frequency
f Modulation mode
f Bandwidth
f Control type and time
f BFO frequency
f DGC value
f Frequency deviation and offset
f Baud rate
f Polarity
f TTY status
3.1.14.2 Channel Scanning by Using the
Tuning Knob
If the LED is not illuminated, actuate key CH.
Upon actuation of key CH it appears the fol>
lowing display:
CHANNEL _
In order to call up the next higher channel
number (e999) turn the tuning knob clock>
wise.
In order to call up the next lower channel num>
ber (f 0) turn the tuning knob counter>
clockwise .
