A3.7.18 Setting the Notch Filters,
Switching On or Off
Command syntax:
Code: NF
Parameter: .................... a,b,c
Possible entries / replies
a> (notch filter A) and b>parameters (notch
filter B)
Range: .......................... >5000 to 5000
Resolution: .................... 1 Hz
c>parameter
0 = switch off (OFF)
1 = switch on (ON)
Note:
The parameter order must not be altered.
However, parameter entry can be made selec>
tively, i.e., parameters which are not needed
can be omitted.
Example 1:
Inquiry of notch filter status
Command = rAxxNF??
Æ Reply = rAxxNF>600,>400,0?
The notch filters are switched off.
Example 2:
Switching the notch filters on with request for
acknowledgement
Command = rAxxNF,,1,??
Æ Reply = rAxxNF>600,>300,1?
With the notch filters being switched on, the
interfering frequencies f
Rx
> 600 Hz and f
Rx
>
300 Hz are filtered out.
Example 3:
Setting notch filter B to a frequency of 2.5!kHz

Inquiry of the noise blanker status

The noise blanker is switched off.
Example 2:
Switching the noise blanker on
