A3.4.4 Frequency Scanning Parameters
Command syntax:
Code: SW
Parameter: ................... a,b,c
Possible entries / replies
a> and b>parameters (start and stop frequency, respectively):
Range: .............. 0 to 30000000
Stepwidth: ................. 1 Hz
Entry: ......................... in Hz
c>parameter (stepdwidth):
Range: ....................... 1 to 30000000
Stepwidth: ................. 1 Hz
Entry: ......................... in Hz
Note:
The parameter order must not be altered.
However, parameter entry may be made selec>
tively, i.e., parameters which are not needed
can be omitted. The technical data stated in
the data sheet are guaranteed for frequencies
as of 10 kHz.
Example 1:
Entry of the following scanning parameters:
f Start frequency = 10 MHz
f Stop frequency = 25 MHz
f Stepwidth = 10 Hz
Command =
rAxxSW10000000,25000000,10?
Example 2:
Inquiry of the programmed scanning para>
meters
Command = rAxxSW??
Æ Reply =
rAxxSW10000000,25000000,10?
For scanning a start frequency of 10 MHz, a
stop frequency of 25 MHz and a stepwidth of
10 Hz are programmed.
Example 3:
Selective entry of a stepwidth of 20 Hz and re>
quest for acknowledgement
Command = rAxxSW,,20,??
Æ Reply=
rAxxSW10000000,25000000,20?
The scanning process is programmed to a start
frequency of 10 MHz, a stop frequency of
25!MHz and a stepwidth of 20 Hz.
