IF / AF Processor
The HF signal from the antenna or the
optional 'Preselection FK 890H1' is applied via
relays K1 to K3 to the HF unit. Relay K1 is
energized by a logic circuit.
As soon as the logic circuit detects an
overvoltage at the input, the input signal will
be cut out for approx. 3 s. This procedure is
repeated for as long as an overload is being
detected.
Relays K2 and K3 permit the low>noise
preamplifier to be enabled or inhibited. The
preamplifier test (built>in equipment test) is
carried out with the aid of a 100>kHz test
signal.
