9.1 Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Control Panel
There is a malfunction indicator lamp (1) on the control
panel of the scanner. If this lamp lights up, the scanner
detected a paper jam.
If the scanner is fitted with the optional height
adjustment, the malfunction indicator LED may also
show a problem with the height adjustment if it lights
up. In this case, please contact the ROWE Service.
9.2 Installation Problems
The following table lists some problems that may occur during installation and describes
remedial actions.
Installation program
does not open after
inserting the CD-ROM
Enable Windows Autorun or start installation program directly
from the CD
Installation fails giving
an error message
Make sure that the minimum requirements are satisfied. Among
others, you need administrator rights, see Chapter 1.5
Check whether the entry "ROWE Scanner" is available in the
Windows Device Manager. Check whether the Windows Utility
"ROWE Scan-Controller" is started (perform a restart of the PC).
If applicable, deactivate firewalls and afterwards reinstall the
software.

License installation
fails
Check whether the connection to the scanner is established (see
above). Reinstall the software.
Repeat calibration. Check the chart for damages.
