Installation
t Turn the opening of the metal ring draft shield in the direction of the
arrows.
t To mount the metal ring draft shield: Turn the screw (2).
t Place the filter pan (1) or the weighing pan through the opening in the
shield plate into the pan retainer.
t NOTICE The filter pan or weighing pan can be damaged due to improper
assembly. To mount the inserted filter pan or weighing pan: Screw in the
filter pan or weighing pan with slight pressure to correctly position
itinthe pan retainer.
t Insert the bearing pin (1) into the recess of the draft shield.
t Place the draft shield cover on the draft shield.
5.8.2 Optimizing a Filter Weighing Pan with a Metal Ring
Draft Shield for Left-handed Users
Requirements
The metal ring draft shield has been mounted.
Procedure
t Lift the draft shield cover from the metal ring draft shield and turn.
t Pull out the bearing pin (1) from the underside of the draft shield cover
and insert into the opening on the opposite side.
t Place the draft shield cover on the metal ring draft shield.
t Loosen the screw (1) on the metal ring draft shield and turn all parts
ofthe draft shield in the direction of the arrows by 90°.
t Retighten the screw.
