These firmware differ from previous versions as
follows:
− Internal changes to support Flash memory revision
and battery-backed clock hardware change.
− Target LEDs can no longer be reset if a TRIP
condition is present.
− Added SEL-DTA2 compatibility.
− A5C0 Relay Definition Block changed.
− Updated ID Message Response
(see Appendix D).
− Lowered the minimum allowable setting for 27B81P
(undervoltage block for frequency elements) in relays
with wye-connected voltages.
Delta-connected voltage models only:
− Expanded the setting range for SYNCP
(synchronizing phase) setting to accomodate
compensation angle settings.
− Corrected Fast Meter configuration block to indicate
that delta-power calculations are required.
− Added two line-impedance settings – Z0MAG and
Z0ANG – that are used by the fault locator
algorithm.
− Added the MB8A and MB8B serial port protocol
settings options for MIRRORED BITS protocol
operating on communications channels requiring an
eight bit data format.
