1 General
These operating instructions contain
information concerning the commission-
ing, maintenance, inspection, functional
testing, and conformity of the MSL
multi-beam photoelectric safety switch.
The MSL is a non-contact protective
device complying with EN 50 100 Parts
1 and 2 and meets the requirements of a
Type 4 device.

These instructions are organized such
that the main text is available in a multi-
lingual format and the appendix contains
the tables and illustrations in a language-
independent form. The text contains
references to the illustrations/tables in
the appendix.

MSL multi-beam photoelectric safety
