You can delete planned batches after selecting them with the ’Delete’
function in the ’Edit’ menu. Finally confirm this in the input box which now
opens.
You can release planned batches for editing by batch control after selecting
them with the ’Release’ function in the ’Edit’ menu. At the same time a
check is made of the consistency of the $ variables (see Chapter 6.3.2) and
their plausibility. If there are missing or incorrect entries, the recipe dialog
for this batch will open and you will be asked to repeat your entries. The
batch status is changed to ’Release running’, and control recipe generation of
the batch is activated. Should a faulty recipe result in an error occuring
during control recipe generation, the batch will be given the status ’Release
error’. For these batches you can select another recipe or correct the fault in
the recipe (see Chapter 4) and release the batch again.
Note
Batches with ’automatic’ starting mode will be given the status ’waiting’
following their release by batch control and can then be edited only in the
user interface of batch control (see Chapter 5).
