9.2.2 Takeover of the configuration data from the ES and additions in
BATCH
flexible
You can export the configuration data from the ES by using the function
’Export to batch’ in the ’Tools’. The data are exported to an external ASCII
transfer file. You can choose which data to export:
S complete process cell (contains all apparatuses together with all
automation functions and transitions),
S special apparatus (contains all associated automation functions and
transitions),
S special automation function (including associated apparatus),
S special transition (including associated apparatus),
To be able to use in BATCH flexible the plant data created in CFC, you must
import the ASCII file created by the CFC editor with the aid of the BATCH
flexible Object Manager (BOM). To do so you must select the menu function
Configure → Read in configuration data... and select the file to be retrieved.
The selected ASCII– file is converted and written as plant data into the
corresponding tables of the BATCH flexible database (see Page 3-38).
Note
While the ’Read in configuration data...’ function is running no BATCH
flexible application should be active.
When the configuration data is being imported the status of ’released’
recipes and batches is changed to ’Release canceled’ or ’Incomplete’. For
this reason, following importation you will first need to have the objects
released again.
You can take over the following project data from WinCC for use in BATCH
flexible:
S Measuring points which are to be presented for selection for inclusion in
the recipe header data,
S OS users and user groups.
To do so, proceed as follows:
S Start the Batch Object Manager (BOM) from WinCC.
