Rules for the use of the motors:
● Rated output current of the converter ≥ rated input current of the motor.
● For the SINAMICS G110M use only the following types of motors:
– SIMOTICS GP 1LA, frame size 71
– SIMOTICS GP 1LE1 frame sizes 80, 90 100 and 112.
● The motors must be configured with the terminal box on the B-side (BS) of the motor
(NDE = Non Drive End) as shown in the figure below. For this configuration, select the
following options during the motor selection:
– For SIMOTICS GP 1LA motors, option M64
– For SIMOTICS GP 1LE1 motors, option H08 (in preparation for 1LE1 motors for frame
sizes 80 and 90).
