5.4 AFTER WORKING
• Empty the metering units’ seed hoppers using the EMPTYING GATE placed in the metering
boxes (see section 8.1 SEED HOPPER).
• Empty the fertilizer hoppers (see section 8.2 FERTILISER HOPPER) and the insecticide and/or
helicide micro granulator’s hopper (see section 8.3 INSECTISIDE MICROGRALULATOR’S AND/
OR HELICIDE MICROGRANULATOR’S HOPPERS).
• Wash the machine using water. Wash particularly well the tanks where chemical products have
been used (see section 9.6 MACHINE CLEANING).
• Check that the components of the machine are in good condition. Replace the worn parts if
needed.
• Delete any particle that can cause corrosion. If necessary, use anti-corrosion paint.
• Grease and lubricate the indicated parts, chains, cogs and pinions (see section 9.2 GREASING
AND LUBRICATION).
