6.18 FERTILIZING EQUIPMENT (OPTIONAL)
To adjust the fertilizing equipment it is necessary to know the row spacing,
the quantity of fertilizer to be spread per hectare and the fertilizer’s specic
weight. Take into account that there is a wide variety of fertilizers, all them
having dierent density and granulometry, so that it is dicult to achieve a
precise adjustment. To adjust the dosing, use the following tables and pro-
ceed by approximation. This table is also placed on the fertilizer hopper’s
cover.
