6.20 HELICIDE MICRO GRANULATOR
(OPTIONAL)
In order to adjust the distribution of the
helicide micro granulator, it is necessary
to know the row spacing, the quantity of
product to be distributed per hectare and
its specic weight.
It should be taken into account that the-
re is a wide variety of products, each one
with its particular density and granulo-
metry. Therefore, precise adjustments are
dicult to achieve.
Micro granulated helicide can be placed
in two ways, as required:
- SEMI-SUPERFICIAL (1, Fig. 6.138).
- SUPERFICIAL (2, Fig. 6.138).
If the specic weight of the helicide to be used is die-
rent from the ones in the dosing tables, apply the fo-
llowing formula to calculate the Kg/ha which are going
to be spread:

Z = Kg/ha which are going to be spread.
V = Kg/ha in the table depending on the dosing adjust-
ment, the row spacing and the helicide’s specic
weight shown in the table.

ding on the selected value “V”.

In case to spread helicide at a dierent row spa-
cing from the ones in the dosing tables, apply
the following formula:
