ment must be checked for proper functioning
prior to being put into operation for the first
time.
Lifting capacity with attachment
The permissible lifting capacity of the attach-
ment and the allowable load (lifting capacity
and load moment) of the forklift truck may not
be exceeded in the combination of attachment
and payload. The specifications of the manu-
facturer and supplier of the attachment must
be complied with.
When determining the lifting capacity, the tare
weight of the attachment and the resulting load
moment must be taken into consideration.
