Driving (single-pedal operation with
multiple lever version)
DANGER
Risk of accident!
– Operate the truck only from the driver’s seat.
NOTE
Please take note of the safety regulations
while driving; see ⇒ Chapter "Safety regulati-
ons when driving", P. 5-76.
– Sit on the driver’s seat.
The driver’s seat is equipped with a seat
switch. If there is an operating error or mal-
function, the message
SITZSCHALTER
(SEAT SWITCH)
appears in the display
and operating unit (see ⇒ Chapter "Message
SITZSCHALTER (SEAT SWITCH)", P. 5-145.
– Fasten the safety belt.
The buckle has a buckle switch (special equip-
ment). If there is an operating error or mal-
function, the message
SICHERHEITSGURT
(SAFETY BELT)
appears in the display and
operating unit; see ⇒ Chapter "SAFETY BELT
message", P. 5-142.
– Pull the "raise–lower"(1) operating lever
backward and raise the fork carriage until
the necessary ground clearance has been
reached.
– Pull the "tilt" operating lever (2) backward,
thereby tilting the mast backward.
– Do not accept any load yet!
