Procedure if truck tips over
WARNING
Risk of injury!
Failure to comply with the limits specified in these
operating instructions, e.g. driving on unacceptably
steep inclines or failing to adjust speed when cor-
nering, can cause the truck to tip over.
If the truck is threatening to tip over, you should not
under any circumstances attempt to jump clear.
Jumping increases the risk of injury. Do not release
your seat belt!
The correct behaviour is as follows:
– Bend your upper body over the steering
wheel.
– Hold on tight to the steering wheel with both
hands and brace yourself with your feet.
– Bend your body against the direction of the
fall.

– On trucks with a cab, if the door cannot be
opened after tipping over, the emergency
hammer (1) can be used to break a window.
WARNING
Glass splinters may cause injuries!
– Turn your face away when breaking the window.
