Handling Completed Trays
Afteryouhaveproperlyplacedallobjectsonthebuildtray,yousavethe
trayasanobjtffile,whichissenttothe3Dprinterforproduction.Butbefore
savingthetray,youcancheckthattherewouldbenoproblemproducingit.
Youcanalsocalculatehowmuchmaterial
wouldbeconsumedduring
productionandhowmuchtimethiswouldtake.
Tray Validation
Beforesendingajobtotheprinterforproduction,youshouldcheckthat
thetrayis“valid”andcanbeprinted.
To validate that the tray can be printed:

OntheTraySettingsribbon,intheBuildProcessgroup,click .
or—
FromtheToolsmenu,select
Placement Validation.
Ifthetrayisnotvalid,thecoloroftheproblematicmodelsonthetray
changesaccordingtoapre‐setcode.
