Tips:
The password, for a household wireless LAN router, is sometimes found on a sticker on the router
(WEP, WPA, KEY, etc.). Contact the router manufacturer for information. For password for a public
wireless LAN, check with user's service provider.
Entering a password is not required if an access point is not security protected.
The next time your phone connects to a previously accessed secured wireless network, you will not
be prompted to enter the password again, unless you reset your phone to its factory default settings,
or you instruct the phone to forget the network.
Wi-Fi networks are self-discoverable, which means no additional steps are required for your phone
to connect to a Wi-Fi network. It may be necessary to provide a username and password for certain
closed wireless networks.
To receive notifications when a high-quality public network is available, on the Wi-Fi settings menu,
select Options > Advanced Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi notification > On
Forget or Disconnect Wi-Fi
You may wish to disconnect from a connected Wi-Fi network without turning Wi-Fi off.

From the home screen, press OK to enter the Apps List, then go to Settings > Wireless & network >
Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi settings menu appears.

Select Turn Off.
Wi-Fi is disconnected.
If you wish to forget a Wi-Fi.

From the home screen, press OK to enter the Apps List, then go to Settings > Wireless & network >
Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi settings menu appears.

Choose the Wi-Fi name and select Options > Forget.
Wi-Fi is disconnected and forget.
If select Forget or Disconnet, you may not need to re-enter the password to
reconnect.
Tethering & Mobile Hotspot
Use hotspot and tethering to provide internet to other devices through your Wi-Fi or mobile data
connection. Apps can also create a hotspot to share content with nearby devices.
Note: Turning hotspot on will disable your phone's connection to other Wi-Fi networks.
Turn Tethering or Hotspot On

From the home screen, press OK to enter the Apps List
2.
then go to Settings > Wireless & network > Hotspot & tethering
