7.10. DISASSEMBLING THE PEDAL LEVERS

3. Remove the spring from the pins a.

4. Back off the screw b on the lower part of the
lever, using a 5-mm hex wrench.
5. Back off the snap ring c, using the proper
pliers.

6. Using an 8-mm hex wrench, back off the
screw d securing the joint connected to the
chain onto the machine frame.
When reassembling the joint, remember
to re-insert the two washers, fitting the
plastic one first, and then the metal one.
During reassembly, lock down the screw
“d” using a torque wrench setting of 45
Nm.
7. Remove the lever by pulling it outwards.
