2. Drain the hydraulic fluid from the tank.
3. Remove the high pressure relief valves
(Figure 8M-10).

4. Inspect the valve for debris and damage. Inspect
the seat in the body for damage. Clean or replace
as necessary.
5. Replace the hydraulic fluid in the tank.
Deck Relief Valve Test
1. Shut off the engine.
2. Disconnect pressure hose (M1 port on deck valve)
from deck motor and plug port on the motor
(Figure 8M-11).

3. Install a 5000 psi (344 Bar) gauge onto the end of
the pressure hose.
4. Start engine and advance engine rpm to full
throttle.
5. Pull PTO switch to the ON position and record
pressure gauge reading.
6. Drop engine speed to 1750 rpm and record pres-
sure gauge reading.
7. Deck relief valve setting should be 3200 psi (220
Bar) at both high and low idle positions.
