INSTALLATION
Allow the tractor to cool completely.
1. Park the tractor on flat and level ground. Lower
the mower completely. Engage the parking brake,
turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and
remove the ignition key.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the
battery.
3. Locate the ROPS mounting holes on the side of
the frame behind the fuel and hydraulic tanks
(Figure 9G-2).

4. Position the ROPS for installation. Secure with the
four mounting bolts and flat washers.
5. Check the ROPS for proper installation and angle.
6. Position the retractable portion of the seat belt on
the left side of the ROPS (Figure 9G-2) in the
mounting bracket. Secure with a mounting bolt
and nut.
7. Position the fixed portion of the seat belt on the
right side of the ROPS in the mounting bracket.
Secure with a mounting bolt and nut.
WARNING
Before attempting to clean, adjust, or repair the
equipment, disengage all drives, shut down the
engine and allow the unit to cool completely.
Remove the ignition key and disconnect the nega-
tive battery terminal to prevent accidental discharge
and possible bodily injury.
WARNING
Wait for all machine, drive systems, and mowers to
stop before making any adjustment or modifications.
