Repair
Control Module
Removal and Installation
See Figure 4-34.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Disconnect the negative (–) battery cable at the
battery.
3. Remove instrument panel cover. (See “Instrument
Panel Cover” on page 9-13.)

NOTE
Label all wires before disconnecting to ensure correct
installation.
4. Disconnect control module wire
connectors (4 and 5).
5. Remove screws (2) and nuts (3).
6. Remove control module (1).
Installation Notes
• Apply dielectric grease (Jacobsen PN 365422) to any
wire connectors disconnected.
• Install control module by reversing the order of
removal.
Battery Cover
Removal and Installation

1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

2. Fully open battery cover (1).
3. Remove six screws (2).
4. Remove battery cover.
Installation Note
Install battery cover by reversing the order of removal.
