1.8 SYSTEM OVERVIEW
The SonixTouch Q+ Ultrasound System is a software driven, ergonomic, diagnostic medical device. It uses state of the art
technologies to acquire, process and display ultrasound data (Figure 1-1).
The system has several major field serviceable components including: LCD display with built-in speakers and a multi-
position, articulated lift system, operator console, modulo, transducers and UPS.
