IP Network Parameters
3.3.7.2 DNS Servers
If not provided by DHCP automatically, a primary and a secondary DNS server can be config-
ured.
Data required
• Primary DNS: IP address of the primary DNS server.
• Secondary DNS: IP address of the secondary DNS server.
Administration via WBM
Network > General IP configuration
Enter the IP addresses of the primary and the secondary DNS server. Afterwards, click Submit.
Administration via Local Phone

Enhanced survivability using DNS SRV is available. To make use of it, a special con-
figuration is required. For details, please refer to Section 3.5.10, “Resilience and
Survivability”.
