When a value is expressed as N/A, it indicates that the calibration factor has been
altered but not saved, the sensor has not been measured, its measurement channel
has failed, or the sensor is disabled.

Sensor Status Values (page 149)
6.6 Troubleshooting with Commands
For most of the sensor inputs, you can use data validation parameters to check the following
quality parameters for the measurements:
• Maximum value: the maximum climatological value for the sensor measurement.
• Minimum value: the minimum climatological value for the sensor measurement.
• Step change: the maximum step change for the sensor value between two consecutive
measurements.
If the sensor value is outside the maximum or minimum values, or it has altered more than
the maximum step change allows, data is
flagged as INVALID. Invalid data is typically
displayed as ///// (this is a parameter that you can set). If a sensor displays invalid data,
this is an indication that the sensor is faulty or out of calibration, or there is a problem in
powering or measuring the sensor.

Checking Errors
The / E> prompt in the terminal window means that there are errors. Errors indicate that
there is something wrong with the sensors or the configuration.
1. Check the active errors.
/ E> errors
2. Clear the active errors.
/ E> errors clear
3. Write down the error information and contact Vaisala technical support.
