3. Use a belt grinding machine or similar to lower the DRS511.
Do not grind the metal part of the temperature sensor.CAUTION!
4. To complete the grinding, smooth the sensor surface around the optical sensor with
sandpaper and water.
5. Clean the sensor head carefully with a wet wipe.

Adding DRS511 to System
Before configuring the new sensor, complete the mechanical installation.
1. In AWS Client, select Settings > Parameters > Static.
2. In the CFG parameter set, select DRS511.
3. To enable the sensor, type 1 in the Value
field, and select Save.
4. To activate the new configuration, reset the QML data logger. Select Maintenance >
Reset > Immediate.

Solar Panel Maintenance
Wear rubber gloves to protect yourself against possible electric shock.WARNING!
Periodic maintenance for the solar panel includes:
• Inspecting the module at least twice a year for overall integrity. Make sure that
connections to the battery are tight and free of corrosion.
• Cleaning the module surface, if needed. Dirt accumulation on the module's front
surface can reduce the light energy collected by the module. If the module surface is
dirty, gently clean it using a soft, lint-free cloth moistened with mild detergent.
Do not use a scrub brush. It can damage the front surface of the
module.
