Vaisala AWS310-SITE - Replacing 12 V; 26 Ah Battery

When the status LED turns red, QBR101C disconnects the load at the DCout/Switch
terminal, and shuts down the system. This protects the batteries from deep discharging.
1. Disconnect the AC (mains) power supply or the external DC.
2. To see the battery status, press the QBR101C TEST button:
• If the LED is green, the battery is OK.
• If the LED is yellow, the battery voltage is low (level < 11.5 V).
• If the LED is red, the battery is empty (level < 10 V).
3. Charge the battery for a while. Then, repeat the procedure from step 1.

• Slothead screwdriver
Only licensed experts may install electrical components. They must
adhere to local and state legislation and regulations.
WARNING!
Do not replace the battery with a battery of an incorrect type. If you do,
there is a risk of explosion. Dispose of used batteries according to statutory regulations.
WARNING!
The expected lifetime for the backup battery is 5 years.
The backup battery does not have any replaceable parts.
1. Switch o the battery fuse.
If the AC (mains) power is connected and viable, the weather station continues to
operate normally during the battery change.
