Check the sensor visually once a year before the wintertime.
1. Check that the sensor lies below the road surface.
On a very rough road surface, the sensor must lie approximately 3 mm (0.12 in) below
the surface.
On a smoother road surface, the sensor must lie approximately 1 mm (0.04 in) below
the surface.
2. Check the position of the sensor with the installation plate or a spirit level.
The sensor surface must be in horizontal position so that moisture spreads equally on
the surface.

3. If the sensor surface is too high, to lower the sensor, grind the sensor surface.
