4.10 Data Logging
QML data logger stores the measured and calculated data in the internal memory. The
internal memory is a Flash chip with a data storage capacity of 3.3 MB. The internal memory
is used as a temporary non-volatile storage for reports that are scheduled to be transmitted
to an external server.
Logged data is divided into 4 log groups that each create a separate log
file each day. The
division to
dierent groups is based on the update interval of the data being logged.
When the LLWAS mode is disabled, QML data logger does not write any data to log group 3.
QML data logger saves the daily log
files on the external CompactFlash memory card daily
at midnight. The default time is 00:05:00.
The log files are stored in the /Ext/<station name> subfolder. The logger deletes the
log files automatically after 366 days.
When the LLWAS mode is enabled, only wind sensors are active in the weather station. If
you activate additional sensors simultaneously, the log
files may become too large and the
system cannot save them.
Always use an external memory card in the logger, or the internal log memory may fill up.
The daily log file is a binary DAT file that can be converted to CSV with AWS Client. The
filename is L0YYMMDD.dat.
• L0 = Log group name for daily log
files (L0, L1, L2, or L3)
