Name Description

The message header, where where id is the station ID.
xxx,R,yy.y,M,z
Message data:
• xxx = Wind direction (deg), 3‑second weighted average
• R = Relative direction
• yy.y = Wind speed (m/s), 3‑second weighted average
• M = Speed unit
• z = Measurement status, where A = valid and V = invalid

Message checksum:
• * = Checksum indicator
• 12 = Checksum<8bit XOR %02d>
• Checksum span = Between $ and *, with them being excluded
