5. In Serial Port, set the following:
COM port
The COM port to which the service cable is connected to.
In the Default station, the COM port is set to 1. To make sure this matches the port
assigned for the USB serial port, launch the Vaisala USB Instrument Finder
program from the Start menu.
Baud rate
Set to 9600.
Parity
Set to None.
Data bits
Set to 8.
Stop bits
Set to 1.
Flow control
Set to None.
6. The Telephone section is not needed. Leave it empty.
7. To save the changes, select Save.

Establishing Connection to Station
1. In AWS Client, select File > Connect.
2. To establish a connection, select the correct weather station and OK.
When you are connected to the station but the service connection is closed, messages and
reports appear in the main window.
The report type and appearance depend on your setup. The messages and reports only
appear if they are
configured in the station.
Some values are shown as slashes, either because the sensor is missing or because the
value is calculated from the measured values later.
4.3.3 Changing COM Port
1. In AWS Client, select Settings > Address Book.
2. Select the appropriate station and Edit.
