The QML logger stores logged data on the memory card for one year, and automatically
deletes files older than that.
4.9.2 Formatting External Memory Card
Format the memory card before use. Format the card on the site when the installation has
been completed and the system is being taken in use. This erases any erroneous data from
the installation or testing phase.
Format the memory card in a Windows computer.
Use the FAT (not FAT32) file system. Do not select the quick format option.
1. Insert the card into the memory card slot of the QML data logger.
2. Give the following command:
EXTFS ERASE
3. Remove the card from the card slot.

Inserting External Memory Card
To use the extenal CompactFlash memory card, insert it into QML data logger.
1. Locate the QML data logger in the enclosure.
2. Hold the memory card so that the colored text label points towards the body of the
logger.
3. Insert the memory card in the card slot in the QML data logger and push down until the
card is all the way in.
