4.4.5 Setting Messaging Parameters
Although AWS310-SITE lists all the available parameters, you can only edit the settings for
hardware that is correctly installed and configured in the system.
To define the interface settings and to send the air temperature and relative humidity
message (TU) and atmospheric pressure message (PA) to the WID displays, set the correct
messaging parameters.
1. In AWS Client, select Settings > Parameters > Static.
2. In the MessageDispatcher parameter set,
configure the messaging parameters. The
possible values are 0 (disabled) and 1 (enabled).
Parameter Name
Description
reports_to_local Sends reports to local serial port on DSI486_0_1.
reports_to_local2 Sends reports to local serial port on DSI486_1_1.
reports_to_com0 Sends reports to local service port COM0.
TU_WID Sends the TU message to WID displays.
PA_WID Sends the PA message to WID displays.
3. To save the changes, select Save.

Configuring Sensor Parameters
To add preconfigured sensors in or to remove existing sensors from the configuration,
enable the sensors that are included in the weather station.
Do not enable sensors that are not part of the system. This may cause
errors.
CAUTION!
1. In AWS Client, select Settings > Parameters > Static.
2. Open the CFG parameter set.
