CHAPTER 8 - CFW-09 OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES
Do not remove the gaskets inside the cable glands, which were not used.
They are necessary to guarantee NEMA 4X protection.
To specify a NEMA4X inverter, it is necessary to include the term “N4” in the
field “Enclosure Degree of Protection” according to the CFW-09 specification
in chapter 2, item 2.4 (CFW-09 Identification). Remember that the NEMA 4X
line is only up to 10 hp.
The CFW-09HD inverterline,suppliedbyDCLink,hasthesameinstallation,
mechanical, programmingand performancecharacteristics asthe Standard
Up to size 5, an HD inverter is required to make the supply through the DC
Link. In this case is sufficient to supplya standard inverter through the DC
Link with an external pre-charge circuit;
The models of size 6 and larger are fitted with an internal pre-charge
circuit and have internal changes;

at the input:harmonics injectionto the network and braking of loads with high
inertia, or that run at high speeds and require short braking times. The
harmonic injection to the network happens with anytype of load. The braking
problems appearwithloads such assugarcentrifuges,dynamometers,cranes
