14) Operate the turning gear to move the
crank counterclockwise to
approximately 35_ after TDC (see
Fig. 4).
15) Attach the manual ratchet (H1) to the
eye bolt (E3).
16) Attach the manual ratchet (H2) to the
eye bolt (EB3). Apply a light tension to
the chain.
17) Remove the holder 94331.
18) Operate carefully the manual ratchets
(H1, H2) and the chain block (H5) to
remove the connecting rod from the
crank pin.
19) Remove the manual ratchet H1.
20) Operate the chain block (H5, Fig. 5)
and the manual ratchet (H2) to remove
the connecting rod from the engine.
