ONT Product Information Guide
1 Locate the data cable and the corresponding interfaces.
2 Determine the area where the I-010G-A indoor ONT will be installed.
3 Are any of the cables missing or are they located away from the I-010G-A indoor
ONT mounting area?
a If yes, go to step 4.
b If no, go to step 5.
4 Locate and route each missing connection or each connection that needs to be
relocated to the ONT mounting area using your local practices. Some cables, such
as Ethernet, may need to be installed in the subscriber residence first.
Note — Observe the following:
• The I-010G-A indoor ONT should be installed in accordance with the
applicable requirements of the NEC or CEC. Local authorities and
practices take precedence when there is conflict between the local
standard and the NEC or CEC.
• The I-010G-A indoor ONT must be installed by qualified service
personnel.
• I-010G-A indoor ONTs must be installed with cables that are suitably
rated and listed for indoor use.
• See the I-010G-A ONT unit data sheet documentation for the
temperature ranges for this ONTs.
Note — Observe the following:
• The power converter must be located within 5 ft (1.5 m) of the
I-010G-A indoor ONT.
• The power converter must be located within 6 ft (1.8 m) of an
electrical outlet.
• Units must be powered by a UL listed or CE approved and marked
limited power source power supply with a minimum output rate of
12 V dc, 2 A.
