appear or is in the wrong position (for example, on the T wave), select another lead.
5. Confirm that the Defibrillator Monitor enters the synchronized cardioversion mode. At
this time, the "Sync" sign will appear in the defibrillation information area, and the "Sync" will
disappear when existing synchronous defibrillation.
6. Use the Energy Select button to set the desired energy value.
7. Press the charge button. If the paddles have charge buttons, press the button on the
paddles.
8. Confirm that the current patient needs a shock, and the Defibrillator Monitor has been
charged. Make sure that no one is in contact with the patient and that there are no accessories or
devices connected to the patient, and shout "stand away" loud and clear.
9. Press and hold the shock button to discharge. If the paddles are used, press, and hold
the shock buttons on both paddles. When the next R wave is detected, the Defibrillator Monitor
will deliver a shock.
Caution:
After synchronized cardioversion is performed, the alarm of the Defibrillator Monitor
will be automatically restored.
When delivering a synchronous shock, press and hold the shock button (or the shock
buttons of the paddles) until a shock is delivered. The Defibrillator Monitor will deliver a shock on
the next R wave detection.
5.5.2 Deliver an Additional Synchronous Shock
If synchronized cardioversion is required again after sending a synchronous shock:
1. Ensure that the Defibrillator Monitor is still in synchronized cardioversion mode.
2. Repeat synchronized cardioversion steps 4-9 described above.
In the basic configuration, if [Sync Hold On/Off] is set to [Yes], the Defibrillator Monitor will
remain in synchronous defibrillation mode after delivering a synchronous shock. If set to [No],
the Defibrillator Monitor will exit synchronous defibrillation mode and will enter the
asynchronous defibrillation mode after delivering a synchronous shock.
5.5.3 Stop Synchronous Defibrillation
To stop synchronous defibrillation mode, press the [Sync] button on the Defibrillator
Monitor panel.
