18 Inspection and Maintenance
18.1 Routine Inspection
Weekly and after each use of the i6 defibrillator monitor, do the following:
1. Ensure that the equipment is clean.
2. Ensure there are pads or paddles in the carrying bag.
3. Turn the switch on to power up the device to perform self-tests and ensure that it can
pass the self-tests.
4. After powering on, observe the battery level to ensure that the battery is fully charged.
5. Turn the switch to [Shutdown] for 7 seconds, and then turn off the device again.
6. Ensure that the external power cord is intact.
Warnings:
Remove and replace the external power cord immediately to avoid electric shock or fire
hazard, if it is damaged
18.2 Inspection period
• Before each use:
Please perform a functional check.
• After Each Use or After Disassembly:
Please clean and disinfect the device and its parts (see "18 Cleaning and Disinfection");
Please perform a functional check.

If not Used for A Long Time:
A functional check must be performed within six months.
18.3 Service
Regular maintenance and testing of the i6 defibrillator monitor are required to ensure
proper use of the device. Please follow the table below for regular inspection and maintenance
of the defibrillator monitor.
